Yes, Haloodies' commitment to halal and tayyib values is a reflection of the fact that it is owned by practising Muslims.

Does Haloodies support reversible stunning?
A

Yes, Haloodies supports the practise of stunning animals reversibly prior to slaughter, although we accept that some Muslims in the UK prefer to eat meat from animals that have not been stunned. However, the practise of stunning is used in the production of around 80% of halal meats in the UK.

Haloodies is proud to have won the Spirit of Britain Award at the British Muslim Awards 2017, which recognises an individual or organisation's positive impact on the wider community. Haloodies also won the Best Food Business Award at the London Asian Business Awards 2018.

Are Haloodies products halal-accredited?

Yes, Haloodies products are halal-accredited. Aside from being awarded a halal accreditation by Halal Consultations and the Halal Food Authority, the poultry used in our cooked range has been certified by the Central Islamic Committee of Thailand (CICOT).

Yes, all ingredients used in further processing (such as marinades and coatings) have been separately halal-certified.
